Client sign-off flow
Plans, questions and approvals a client answers one item at a time, in writing, ending in an e-signature. No meeting needed.
Overview
The way my clients approve work. Instead of a meeting and a marked-up PDF, a client gets one private link. It walks them through a plan or a set of questions one item per screen: what it is, what it does for them, and what I need from them. The demo uses sample content; nothing you enter is saved or sent.
Challenge
Approvals stall in two places. A plan sent as a document gets skimmed, and the parts that matter most never get a clear yes. A meeting to go through it takes a week to schedule, and what was agreed lives in someone’s notes.
Solution
Every item needs an answer before the review can be signed: approve, approve with a change, “let’s talk about it” (with a line on what’s on their mind), or “Gary’s call”, a written note that they’re happy for me to decide. Answers save as they go. Anything that belongs with someone else can be handed to an assistant or partner, who gets their own link and sees only those items; on decisions they recommend, and the client confirms.
Sign-off is an electronic signature: a one-time code sent to the client’s email, consent, their typed name and an optional drawn signature. The record keeps the time, the browser and a fingerprint of exactly what was signed, the answers lock, and the signed copy goes to the people who signed. Nothing printable exists before that.
I also built a version for plans I paste in: each part of the plan becomes a step, so a new client’s plan is ready to send in a few minutes from my phone.
Current status
Live. I use it for client plan sign-offs, new-client intake and article approvals. Try the demo, and use the code 123456 when it asks.
Vision
Fewer meetings for small businesses that would rather decide in writing, with a record they can trust.
