When someone asks ChatGPT who to hire, does it name you?

More customers now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI for a roofer, a plumber or an accountant, and call one of the first few names. I get your business into those answers, and I show you every week whether it is there.

  • Anywhere in the US
  • Every change reviewed by me
  • Visibility reported, never promised

Your customers are getting a shortlist.

A homeowner with a wet basement used to search, scroll and compare. Now a lot of them type the whole question into ChatGPT: who does the best foundation repair in Louisville? The answer names three or four businesses and gives a reason for each.

Those answers are built from what the AI can find and trust about you: your website, your Google Business Profile, directory listings, reviews, and what other sites say. When that information is thin, out of date or contradictory, the answer names someone else.

Most owners have no idea whether they are on the list. The free check below shows you.

Two ways to show up.

One you earn and one you pay for. Most businesses should start with the first, and some will want both.

AI answers

The businesses ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Gemini recommend when someone asks who to hire.

  • Earned from your website, listings, reviews and what other sites say about you
  • Nobody can buy a place in these answers or guarantee one
  • Slow to build, and it keeps working once it is there
from $1,000per month, visibility retainer

ChatGPT Ads

OpenAI now lets US businesses buy ads in ChatGPT through a self-serve Ads Manager. You pay to appear in conversations about what you sell.

  • You set the budget and pay for clicks
  • Useful for calls this month while the unpaid work builds
  • Measured with a landing page and call tracking
$500per month, plus ad spend

What I do each month.

Small, steady work, logged and reported. Everything goes out under your name, on your own site and listings, and I review every change before it ships. Fake reviews and forum seeding are off the table.

  1. Check

I ask the questions your customers ask

Each AI engine gets the same set of questions about your trade and your city, and I record who gets named. Same questions every time, so a change means something.

  2. Fix

I correct what the AI gets wrong

Service area, hours, licenses, the jobs you do and the ones you turn down. I fix them on your site first, then on the listings and directories these tools read.

  3. Publish

4 to 8 new or rebuilt pages a month

Pages that answer what people ask before they hire: costs, comparisons, service areas, what to expect on the day. Every fact is one you have checked.

  4. Structure

Schema and listings that read cleanly

Structured data on your site, plus your Google Business Profile and directory listings, so search engines and AI tools read your details without guessing.

  5. Report

    A short report every week

What I changed, which answers name you now, and which still name a competitor.

Free AI visibility check.

Tell me the business, the city and the trade. The check asks ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI the kind of questions your customers ask, then shows who they name.

  • Results by a certain date

Questions people ask first.

Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend my business?

No, and be wary of anyone who says they can. AI answers change from day to day and from person to person, and nobody outside OpenAI, Google or Perplexity controls them. I make your business easy for these tools to find, read and trust, and I show you every week whether it is working.

How is this different from SEO?

It sits on the same foundations: a clear, fast site, accurate listings and pages that answer real questions. The difference is what I measure and where I spend the time. Alongside Google search, I track whether AI answers name you, and I put extra work into the facts those tools repeat about you.

Who is this for?

Local service businesses anywhere in the US: contractors, home services and professional offices. Small software companies too, on their own retainer. I work remotely from Louisville, Kentucky, and businesses whose sites I already look after can add it to their plan.

What does the free check do?

It asks ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI a short set of questions about your trade in your city, then shows which answers named you and who they named instead. It is one snapshot. The audit runs the full question set and compares you with your competitors.

What are ChatGPT Ads, and do I need them?

OpenAI now lets US businesses buy ads in ChatGPT through a self-serve Ads Manager. You do not need them. They make sense when you want calls now while the unpaid work builds. I set up the campaign, the landing page and call tracking, then tune it each month. Ad spend is billed to you by OpenAI.

How long before anything changes?

Fixes to your own site and listings can start to show up within weeks. New pages and reputation take months. The weekly report shows what has moved, and if nothing has after a fair run, I will tell you. That is why the first term is 3 months: it gives the work time to show up.

What access do you need?

For the retainer: your website (or its code), Google Search Console, Google Analytics and your Google Business Profile. Everything stays in your name. If I built your site and look after it, there is nothing to set up.

Can I cancel?

Yes, after the first 3 months. The retainer, ads management and the bundle start with a 3-month first term, then run month to month with 30 days notice. Pages, listings and accounts I set up stay yours.
